Yachting Courses

Interested in obtaining your international proficiency certificate? Please look at our us powerboating basic and inshore powerboating courses. You need these two courses to obtain the IPC. Book both of the classes together and we will throw in the night operations endorsement free.

BASIC POWERBOAT CRUISING

Course Description

The Basic Powerboat Cruising course will teach you how to responsibly operate a powered cruising vessel during daylight hours within sight of land in light to moderate wind and sea conditions.

It is required that Basic Powerboat Cruising Certification courses and examinations be conducted on cruising powerboats with adequate equipment to complete all certification outcomes. The suggested minimum length is 26 feet. There is no prerequisite for this course.

US POWERBOATING 16 HOUR CLASS

Course Description

This 16-hour hands-on, on-the-water course is for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate a small motorboat and improve their boat handling skills. No previous experience is required! The US Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (Nasbla) have approved this course and an increasing number of states have recognized it as meeting their requirements for a State Boating Education Certificate.
